Super Lubricant SP-5000 is a super-lubricant and extreme water-reducing additive with high slump retention property based on polycarboxylate ether, modified by polymer and chloride-free, which is suitable for high-performance cement mixes.

It is one of the latest and most capable concrete additives with ability to reduce the amount of concrete mixing water up to 40%. The high power to reduce water, increase in slump, long slump retention, and finally, to increase the compressive strength of concrete at different ages, make this product a very suitable option for temperate and tropical climates as well as precast concrete factories.
Trying to reduce the amount and absorption of water in concrete is the most central function of this additive. By reducing the water-to-cement material ratio and consequently reducing the capillary pores, this material reduces the amount of water absorption and permeability of concrete, and increases its mechanical strength. These properties cause an increase in durability and shelf life of concrete structures.
One of the distinguishing aspects of this concrete additive with other additives of its family is its very high ability to maintain efficiency over a long period of time, which makes it possible to transport the concrete in long distances. Marine and water structures, bridges, towers, and huge and high-rise structures, etc., are among the special applications of this concrete additive material. Providing the development of powerful and special concretes is one of the other advantages of this additive.

The effects of Super Lubricant SP-5000 can be evaluated based on the following standards after being used in concrete.

The exact amount of consumption will be determined through workshop tests, but the consumption amount is around 0.1 to 0.5% of cement weight and replacement materials for the consumed cement depending on the concrete mixing plan (size, type of stone materials, cement grade, water-cement ratio, air temperature and construction method). It can be mixed with a small part of concrete mixing water and added to concrete. It can also be added to prepared concrete or to the water consumed to the concrete.

The best time to use is 5 minutes after the complete mixing of concrete, and the mixing process should continue for at least 10 minutes after addition. In case of using several concrete additives concurrently, be sure to contact “Setareh Mavadsara”, technical department of the company.
This substance is not considered to be dangerous and harmful for health and the environment, however, it should not be swallowed or come into contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, they should be washed immediately with plenty of clean water. Visit a doctor immediately if swallowed. Avoid inducing the victim to vomit. This substance is not flammable.
